“Listen, daughter, and pay careful attention:
 Forget your people and your father’s house.
Let the king be enthralled by your beauty;
 honor him, for he is your lord.” -Psalm 45:10-11

God thinks you are beautiful. Not only does He think that, He is passionately insistent about it. We all spend time arguing with Him about that. Notice the phrasing “let the king be enthralled.” It is an act of obedience and love for God to let Him define you instead of insecurities or cultural standards (“your people” that you have to forget). It is not easy, but it is a vital a way to honor your Lord, by believing Him.
