Philippians 1:6
“being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”

Your feelings about waiting have to be rooted in your feelings about God, not the other way around. Saying “I don’t have this thing I want, which sucks, therefore God must not want to see me happy because He doesn’t really love me” is a trap that is easy to fall into. That kind of leading with emotion leads to trouble. We need to start with what we know: we know God loves us, our emotions do not change that. He will not abandon you.
