Hebrews 6:18-19
“it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled to take hold of the hope offered to us may be greatly encouraged. We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure.”

God wants the best for you, that is all over the Bible (Romans 8:28, Jeremiah 29:11, Psalm 37:4). God is not a liar, He comes through on His promises. In seasons of waiting, we have to trust those promises above our current circumstances, which is hard. That hope in God and His plan to hook us up is what acts as the anchor that keeps us from drifting away in tough times.
